OFF WITH THE MASK

I knew my coaching client before she became my client. I never saw her without her dimpled smile. She was always lifting everyone else up. Seemed to have it all. Always a helping hand. A sparkling light spreading encouragement and positivity to all that she touched.

Once she became my client and dropped the mask, tears fell and she shared her heavy heart. Everything wasn't rosy under that shiny surface.

She relaxed. She took a deep breath. She let go a little. Her shoulders relaxed. And we began to envision a path forward that aligned with her authentic self.

Truth telling and clarity within a safe space created the opportunity for her set her burdens down and set herself free.
